No deaths have been recorded from Omicron so far

The World Health Organization notwithstanding the fact that instances of the new Corona mutant have been recorded in 38 countries around the world, no deaths have been recorded from it so far, and this is what prompted the organization to reassure people regarding the new mutant and to emphasize commitment to precautionary measures.

In the same context, Christian Lindmeier, a spokesman for the World Health Organization, said that manufacturers of Corona vaccines are ready to make the necessary modifications to the currently available vaccines to confront the Omicron variable.

So far, it is still too early to make a judgment about the effectiveness of the current Corona vaccine against the Omicron variant, and the chief scientist and researcher of the World Health Organization have stated that the correct behavior now and in light of the emergence of the new Omicron variant is to adhere to the usual preventive measures against the Coronavirus, such as social distancing, wearing a mask, and avoiding Gatherings, in addition to trusting only statements issued by official authorities.
